Blame Lisa for this one

On saturday night, i was treated to a fantasticly enjoyable night of great food and entertainment (speeches) at katie's wedding, sorry, 21st!!! It was held up at Warrawong Sanctuary in the function room, which allowed a glorious view outside, where quolls, swans, and bettongs regularly passed. It was incredibly cold outside so it was a huge relief that they had two gas patio heaters to ease the chill. It was a black tie event so everyone looked great in their outfits and the jackets kept most people warm. During the course of the evening, i made smalltalk with the lovely Lisa about blogs and commented that she should update hers, to which she replied "i will if you do" or something to that effect, so thats why i'm doing mine, partly cos i've got something semi-interesting to talk about and partly cos its time lisa updated.

So apart from the 21st, not too much has been happening, i just got home from work. i didn't even do 3 hrs worth but i'll get paid for it cos the minimum shift length is 3hrs. the only bad part about finishing early is that i'll have to go in earlier tomorrow morning, like 7.45, which is just nasty. i was hoping to be there til about 12 tonight so i didn't have to be there til 10 tomorrow.
Went to Cammo's for a bbq last night, i was going to church, in fact i got to church but got called home as i was walking across the carpark, so by the time i was ready to go back to church it was 6.45 so i figured i couldn't be bothered so went straight to the bbq. wasn't a big deal, just some of his mates from work. the food was awesome, honey soy satay sticks, steaks and snags cooked to perfection, and the beers completed the picture. it was a good way to follow up from fri where i had some of the guys round here for a meatlovers feast, we had SO much meat.

so i hope Lisa is happy now that i've done my part, she'd better do hers, but i know that she wants to, its just a matter of time, lol. i've gotta go to bed, i'm stuffed and i've gotta be up at 7 tomorrow :(
